Announces Motor Coach Research Trip to

Allen County Public Library — Fort Wayne, Indiana

June 23, 24, & 25, 2010

Departure is at 5:30 am Wednesday, June 23, from Grace United Methodist Church, 300 E. Gartner Road, Naperville. We will depart from the upper level parking lot, where overnight parking is available. The trip includes a two-night stay at the Hilton Ft. Wayne at the Grand Wayne Convention Center, 1020 S. Calhoun St., Fort Wayne, IN (260-420-1100). The hotel is half a block from the library, an easy walk. Researchers will be transported to and from the library only if the weather is bad.

On Wednesday, you will be free to research following our approximate 10:00 am arrival. Library hours are 9:00am – 9:00 pm on Wednesday and Thursday and 9:00 am - 6:00 pm on Friday. At 6:00 pm on Friday, we will stop for dinner in Fort Wayne before departing for home. Approximate arrival time back at Grace United Methodist Church in Naperville is 11:30 pm Friday evening.

The trip fee is $225 per person for FVGS members and $250 for non-members, based on double-room occupancy. A single room is $325 for FVGS members and $350 for non members. The fee includes transportation, 2-night hotel stay, hotel breakfast on Thursday and Friday, and Friday night dinner. A deposit of $100 is required to guarantee your reservation, with the balance due by May 21. Full payment must be received by May 21, 2010 and is non-refundable after that date!

Except for breakfast and Friday night dinner, you will be responsible for lunch / snacks on your own each day at one of the nearby sandwich shops or restaurants, at a hotel dining room, or from non-perishable food items you may bring along. However, lease note that no food or beverages, including water, may be consumed in the research area.
