- Overcoming Brick Walls - Previously-submitted by members, a group of pre-selected problems in locating documentation of ancestral descent will be presented and suggestions for further research made by a panel of experienced member genealogists. Please join us on Thursday, June 13, at 7:30 pm at the Naperville Municipal Center, lower level, Room B & C.
- Maureen Taylor, the Photo Detective who will be the presenter at our Fall Conference, is planning to produce a documentary titled, "Revolutionary Voices: A Last Muster Film" based on her "Last Muster" books. She is using a Kickstarter Campaign to fund the first phase of the production costs. (Kickstarter is an online method to get initial funding of creative projects from the general public, opening up opportunities for anyone to present a project and get funding from people who believe it should be done.)
